4 cups prepared bone broth or vegetable stock
1 T freshly-ground ginger (about 4 inch section of ginger root)
1 tsp ground ginger
1 T honey (optional)
fresh basil (optional)
Place your bone broth in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Peel and grate the ginger root and add it and the dried ginger to the broth. Juice one of the lemons and add the juice and honey to the broth. Simmer for 10 minutes. To serve, slice remaining lemon and add add a few slices and pinch of fresh basil for garnish.
